This weekend marked a couple of firsts:
1. It the first time I did it up Austin style for Halloween. Downtown is seriously the place to be for amazing costumes.
2. This weekend marks the first time I tramped it up for Halloween. Not going to lie, I was a little self conscious, but I got a lot of compliments on my costume and a couple of guys hit on me.
3. This weekend was the first time I wore fake eyelashes. With that being said, I would not recommend the $3 fake ones from the Halloween section at Wal Mart. Sure, they may match your costume right down to the last detail, but if you sneeze in them or blink really hard, it will feel like you are stabbing your lower eyelid.
I’m really excited about trying all sorts of new things in the near future.
