I want to write, but I’m lacking the words.
Today I felt like tap dancing, doing cartwheels, doing a happy dance all over the office.
It feels so good to be back at work after a two-week break for the holidays.
It feels even better to crack mistakes I couldn’t figure out in November before lunchtime today.
It feels good to eat outstanding leftovers for said lunch, because I’m a good cook – when someone isn’t hijacking my recipe (and maybe making it better) (damnit) (I will find something that I’m better at cooking than he is)…
It feels good to ‘have’ to go buy static control bracelets so that I can do my job.
It feels good to not commute.
It feels good to pay rent.
It feels good to just wake up.
It feels good to coordinate a party of four for Martini Monday at Palmer’s.
It feels good look forward to seeing someone again.
Especially when it feels like we’re on the exact same page 🙂
