1. I got my first ever Deep Tissue Massage when things were getting really stressful. I felt like throwing up afterward. Intense.
2. I took the day off for my birthday. Best idea ever. Slept late, daytime tv, champagne, and a massage.
3. New job, nuff said.
4. Donated blood again.
5. Took the GRE and made a decent grade.
6. Participated in several running events.
7. Back in school, not just some web programming joke classes at Austin Community College.
8. Moved from Austin. Let my stuff live in Gonzales for two months. Moved to San Marcos.
9. Have come very, very close to paying off my car.
10. I didn’t like the way that LOST ended. And I’ve fallen in love with Modern Family.
11. I vacationed by myself. Just me and my camera. It was nice.
12. My dad got married, resulting in bigger and more fun holidays with the new family additions.
13. I chased a rooster with wasp spray.
14. Saw Missouri, California, Atlanta, and NYC – still in love with Texas.
15. Mowed my dad’s lawn for him. Ran out of gas, twice each time.
16. Drove over 200 miles in one day.
17. Pierced my cartilage. Well, paid someone to do it for me.
18. Went skydiving again.
19. Shot a very successful set of engagement photos.
20. Got a picture with Leslie Chochran.
21. Dated honestly. Stood up for myself more than ever.
22. Learned the value of vitamin B and how it can brighten your day.
23. Started the 365 project, taking a picture a day of what I see and/or do.
24. Took my mom to Mt. Bonnell, Alamo Drafthouse, Hula Hut, and various other places around Austin.
25. Updated my facebook to ‘engaged’ just for fun. Lots of people fell for it.
26. Visited the riverwalk twice.
27. Took a trip with friends to Concan. Loved every minute.
28. Saw the World Trade Center Ground Zero, on the eve of the anniversary.
29. Ate authentic pizza in Brookyn.
30. Saw the U.S. Open
31. Saw Kings of Leon/Black Keys in concert.
32. Went tubing twice.
33. Highlighted my hair, twice.
34. Was a bridesmaid in a dear friend’s wedding.
35. Got rear-ended. This time, in my car.
36. Participated in Friendsgiving.
37. Started a process to adopt a dog.
38. Met my three new nieces – taught them was “seat check” was. God that was funny.
39. Went on a lot of first dates. Went on a lot of job interviews.
40. Ended the year with stumbling into something good 🙂
