- Had a goal in 2018: have our second kid. Beat that “done with kids by 35” goal. Done and done.
- Survived a rough pregnancy.
- Supported the local arts: Saw several plays at the Landa Park theater.
- Became comfortable with exhaustion.
- Was gifted a robotic vacuum. BEST gift ever.
- Ruined my best tablet computer I’ve ever had.
- Twice I picked a parent up from a hospital in San Antonio for different medical reasons.
- Landed bigger clients.
- Traded work for services.
- Threw a first birthday for my first born son. It was nearly ruined.
- Got to visit a cool new place, Texas Gamer’s Lounge. Had my husband’s birthday there after an excellent dinner at Sylver Spoon.
- Took bluebonnet pictures with my first born son.
- Got awesome new neighbors (Squeee)
- Went on an AWESOME bachelorette party and took a train to an AWESOME wedding, all while pregnant.
- Gave birth to our second son.
- Took another amazing trip with the Orca Pod.
- Took on some really cool projects like volunteering a website for the lighted Christmas parade, Winterfest in my hometown (my sister even scored me a medal I designed).
- Upgraded my wedding ring. All by myself. My husband isn’t too hung up on the cultural and marketing history of wedding jewelry, so he isn’t insulted or emasculated by such things. One of the reasons I adore him.
