Well, well, well, what has this little business adventure taken me to? Well, I’ve seen a lot of this, because it’s been raining terribly.
Things I’ve noticed about KC (Kansas City): They use this abbreviation a lot. I equate it to fried chicken. That annoys me. This hotel seriously has like one extra outlet per two walls in this hotel, one of which is a bunch of glass and a sheet of metal that protects me from all of said rain. The Westin Crown Center makes you pay $5 for a visit to the gym and like $10 a day for internet access. Internet that I can’t even access remotely by trying to log into some account that reads “WestinGuestRooms” which I should be able to log into since I’ve entered a password into this incredibly inconvenient IP setup situation that obviously is not any kind of user friendly. Oh, speaking of internet access, someone cracked into mine, the one I’m paying for, and they sent some “engineer” up here who a.) didn’t know how to find my ip address on my mac and 2.) didn’t know what gamertag meant; to fix it. WHAT!?
I’ve seen this a lot… The two or three story inside fountain. Apparently this town is the “City of Fountains”. What a lame thing to be known for! I’ll take Texas’ history any day!
It’s introduced me to these hilarious videos based on their relevance to Web 2.0 lectures I’ve sat through, and how they can severely and dramatically affect public relations:
United Breaks Guitars
Seriously, after this video was released, United offered him some money, which this guy asked be deferred to a charitable organization. I’ve heard there’s a song 2, but I’m too lazy to go find it.
Cancel AOL
So this marketing blunder turned into that CSR getting fired, AOL issuing a statement… Well, some AOL guy leaked a script online that basically spelled out that the guy that got fired was just doing his job… You get the idea. What a MESS.
I saw this in a candy store… Would that be racist?
