Running tonight was so awesome! I began the night warming up listening to “On to the Next” (that new JayZ song?) (Yes, I am just as surprised as you) and “Streetcorner Symphony” by Rob Thomas, and I was just overall in a good mood. Tonight was also an upper in my total minutes run, so I pulled on my gloves and got with it. I was also pleased that as I made my first lap, on a 6 lane track or so, the cows already walking it, 5 deep, were ending their romp for the day. All decked out in their hats and jackets. Really? It’s not even 50 degrees out here. Move a little faster and warm up!
So I entered the time with “Well, I’ll just make myself comfortable, I’m going to be here on this track for awhile…” and before I knew it, halfway point! Excellent! Man I have GOT to get rid of these gloves! Also, I’ve been getting plenty of sleep lately… And I have my life back from work… Those must have something to do with it 🙂
Also, not a personal best on the mile run (going back to the run-walk method since I’m adding on more time this one around [and around, and around, and around…]) but I was congratulated on a “serious amount of calories burned”. Thanks Lance! Although… I think I gave myself ANOTHER boo boo on my right big toe… It feels like it’s going to go the way of the deep maroon again…
WHO CARES! I FEEL GREAT!! 😀
