What’s Caritas, you ask? —
Vision
Caritas envisions a community where there is respect for all individuals, hope for those experiencing poverty and opportunities for self-reliance.
Mission
Caritas provides a service continuum for those experiencing poverty that begins with a safety net and links them to resources to achieve self-sufficiency.
This means, that people down on their luck this Thanksgiving will get to share food and fun with their family, AND they’ll be on the road to self reliance in the near future. They also help in other ways such as housing, employment, and education. Since its inception in 1991, the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot has raised over $1 million for Caritas.
