[vc_dropcap letter=”T” extra_class=””]hat’s the funny thing when you work with someone closely over a long period of time, remain friends with them, and just know exactly what they need. In my former working life, I recorded a radio show on an AM station called ‘The Trading Post’, sponsored by my place of employment at that time.  It was a 15-minute pre-recorded on-air show where people in the community could submit items for sale, events in the area – things like that.  The show is no longer, and the AM radio station has been closed for some time now.

When my colleague at that radio station messaged me recently about making this logo for the SOCENTEX Bulletin Board, I laughed, because he basically asked me to help revive the middle segment – which was all the local events. Thanks for letting me work on your logo, South Central Texas Bulletin Board. A place where activities, events, and organizations can post, and where members of the community can learn about local happenings and activities. It only took one round of logos to figure out what my amigo needed. We both new what color to make it instantly – rust.
